Youth Leaders Speak

Youth Leaders Speak is a digital storytelling initiative of GOJoven, a fellowship program for young people in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. GOJoven describes its mission as to “develop and support young leaders and their organizations to advance wellness, education, sustainable development, and civic participation across the globe.” The digital storytelling project, a partnership with the US-based Center for Digital Storytelling and Silence Speaks, happened in 2010. Fourteen stories, each by a youth leader, are archived on the project website. The site is notable for the linked resources that provide context for the stories and clarify best practices for running a story screening session.
